🔐 GMS Locks – High-Security Key Control Without the High Cost

GMS locks were introduced to us by our suppliers as a low-cost, economical high-security locking solution for clients who need strong key control without paying the premium price of systems such as Medeco.

🔑 Controlled Key Duplication

With our GMS system:

‱ Keys cannot be duplicated at regular hardware stores.
‱ Other locksmiths cannot simply copy our keys unless they are authorized to work with the same protected keyway.
‱ Our keys are stamped with our company name and phone number, making them easy to identify.
‱ Authorized dealers must respect the key-control requirements of the system. Unauthorized duplication can put their ability to supply and service the product at risk.

This gives businesses and buildings an additional level of key control and accountability.

💰 A Major Saving for Buildings With Many Keys

Today, a Medeco key copy can cost approximately $30-$40 per key, while our GMS keys are approximately $12 per key.

That difference becomes significant when you have a building, business, or organization requiring dozens or hundreds of keys.

For example:

100 keys:

  • Medeco: approximately $3,500
  • GMS: approximately $1,200
  • Potential savings: $2,300

200 keys:

  • Medeco: approximately $7,000
  • GMS: approximately $2,400
  • Potential savings: $4,600

And that’s only the key-copying cost.

Our GMS system is particularly attractive for apartment buildings, commercial buildings, restaurants, businesses and organizations that require a large number of controlled keys.

🔐 High security. Controlled duplication. Affordable keys.

We are confident that once you experience the convenience and security of the GMS system, you’ll consider using it again for your future business expansions and additional doors.

⚠ Key Duplication Notice – GMS MX10

GMS MX10 locks offer minimum to economic security.
Keys cannot be duplicated at hardware stores or kiosks and usually require a locksmith who carries GMS key blanks.

This is a controlled-key concept, similar to Medeco-style systems, where key duplication is intended to be done only by the original locksmith.
However, no mechanical key system is 100% guaranteed, and some locksmiths may be able to bypass restrictions.

A professional locksmith will always advise you to return to the locksmith who originally issued your keys.
